Do I have to pay just to search for an apartment? Nope, searching is 100% free. We only charge a one-time administration fee of 60 euros, and you pay it only once you go ahead and reserve a room. It’s a fixed, one-off cost that covers our admin work, nothing more.

How does payment work? You can pay your rent all at once or split it into installments, depending on how long you’re staying. Just email us your dates and we’ll send back a payment plan that works for you.

Which payment methods can I use? Bank transfer, and in some cases you can pay in cash at our office.

What happens if I cancel? It depends on timing. Cancel early and you get back everything you’ve paid except the administration fee. Cancel within 30 days of your contract start date and you’ll get your money back minus the administration fee and the safety deposit (the deposit goes to the apartment owner as compensation).

Are there any costs on top of the rent? No hidden costs during your stay. All your bills (water, electricity, internet, heating) are already included in the rent. The only thing to keep in mind is that there are “normal consumption limits” on water and electricity, just to make sure nothing gets misused.

What kitchen and electrical equipment will I find in the flat? It varies by apartment, but every place comes with the essentials: washing machine, fridge, oven, pots, pans, plates, cups and cutlery. Basically everything you need to settle in comfortably. Some apartments also throw in extras like a coffee machine, sandwich maker, kettle or vacuum cleaner, so check each listing for the full details.

Do I need to bring my own sheets and towels? We strongly recommend bringing your own towels and bed linen, for the obvious hygiene reasons. Our apartments do include clean second-hand sets left by previous tenants, but your own are always nicer to have.

Can friends or family stay over? Of course. Just two things first: email us in advance, and check with your flatmates to make sure they’re okay with it. Guests can stay in your room for up to 5 days. If they end up staying longer, there’s a charge of 20 euros per day. And if visitors turn up with no heads-up beforehand, the owner may apply extra charges of their own.

What if I arrive and I don’t like the apartment? If something’s genuinely wrong, email our team within your first three days and tell us what the issues are. We’ll first try to move you to another apartment (depending on availability). If we confirm by email that nothing else is free, you can ask for a refund. That refund covers your deposit plus part of your rent (minus 100 euros), but not the administration fee.

When should I book my flight? Try to land before 16:00 if you can. That way a delay or any last-minute surprise won’t leave you stranded.

What’s the checkout process? On your last day (or the day before), the owner or someone from our team stops by to check your room and the shared areas for damage and cleanliness. If everything’s in good shape, you get your safety deposit back. Just remember to hand over your keys when you leave.

One last thing: you can only hold one reservation for a given period at a time. If you’ve already booked and want to change it, just get in touch and we’ll sort it out.
